The Gumball Gizmo! was conceived and invented by Dale Emery and Van Peery of Utah in 1991. After three years of working part time, the prototype debuted in Salt Lake City in 1993. The Gizmo was an instant success. It appeals to everyone with near unbelievable action. With mass production and wide placement beginning in 1995, Gumball Gizmo charged a kinetic revolution.

As a more versatile vendor, Gizmo Jr! was developed by Dan Peery and Greg Peery of Utah through 1996. Mass production began in 1997. This exciting, go anywhere machine has continued to lead the market. Gizmo Jr! is protected by US patent No. 6,056,151.
